The address of the Society is P.O. Box 208, Glover, VT 05839. The purpose of the Glover Historical Society, Inc. is to pursue the acquisition, preservation, interpretation and display of a collection pertaining to the history of Glover.

Any person interested in the history of Glover may become a member by paying a membership fee: $5 for individuals, $8 for families, or $100 for a life membership. Society membership as of January, 2006 stands at 156. All members receive complimentary copies of the Society’s biannual newsletter, Glover History.

Membership meetings are held during the summer season (April through September) at 7 p.m. on the second Wednesday of every month. No meetings are scheduled from October through March.

The society is managed by a 12-member staggered Board of Directors, four of whom also serve as Officers.

Officers and Directors as of January, 2006 are as follows:

Vice President -- Betsy Day
Secretary -- Joan Alexander
Treasurer -- Michael Ladd
Additional Directors: Martha Alexander, Eleanor Bailey, Jean Borland, Gisele Clark, Harriet King, Betty Putney, Randy Williams.
